Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Starting from September 1, 2025, submissions in electronic form are requested using the new online system. Manuscripts prepared for publication must be submitted a PDF format using the online submission system at

http://journal3.pmf.ni.ac.rs/filomat

Editor-in-Chief will preliminarily consider submitted manuscripts and assign them to appropriate and available section editors.
Contributed papers should be written in English. The title of the paper and the name(s) of the author(s) should be followed by a short abstract, keywords, and the AMS Subject Classification of the paper. References, including titles of papers, should conform to the style adopted by Mathematical Reviews. References must be listed alphabetically. 

All names of the authors must be included in the metadata during the initial submission.

A cover letter may contain the desired section editor.

Once the paper has been accepted, the author(s) will be asked to upload the ZIP file containing the LaTeX file and all figures through the online submission system at http://journal3.pmf.ni.ac.rs/filomat. Text preparation in LaTeX, using the template.tex style, is necessary.

It is not allowed to change the order of authors, add or delete the authors, or change the corresponding author after the initial submission of the manuscript. Such submissions will be automatically rejected.

 

Manuscripts submitted till August 31, 2025, will be available at

http://journal.pmf.ni.ac.rs/filomat

for reviewing and revision.

 

Accepted papers submitted by August 31, 2025, will be published in 2025 and 2026. Papers submitted after September 1, 2025, will be published starting in 2027.  

Correspondence concerning manuscripts under review should be sent to the section editor.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in PDF document file format.
  3. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
