Abstract


The purpose of this study is to prove the existence of both entropy solutions and renormalized solutions  for nonlinear parabolic equations with initial data in $L^\infty(\Omega)$ and degenerate coercivity. The functional setting involves Lebesgue and Sobolev spaces with variable exponents.
