Perimeter of an ascent sequence

Abstract

We present an explicit formula for the generating function the number of ascent sequences of length $n$ according to the half perimeter. As consequence, we present an explicit formula for the generating function the number of ascent sequences of length $n$ according to the length of the initial longest increasing subword.
