APPROXIMATION OPERATORS DERIVED FROM GROUPS
Abstract
This study introduces lower and upper approximation sets
for a subset using group-theoretic concepts such as the cyclic subgroup
generated by an element, the centralizer and normalizer of an element,
the orbit and stabilizer of an element under a group action, and their
fundamental properties are investigated. Furthermore, a potential application
method is presented using orbital lower and upper approximation
and orbital boundary concepts on the set of digital images using a group
action. Thus, group-theoretic concepts are directly applied.
